[...] Darnell Mayberry: “Let’s not overlook the performance from KD. Coming into this series, I think we’d all agree that Memphis’ duo of Allen and Battier could give Durant fits. Some of us thought that chess match was more of an advantage than the Grizzlies’ bigs versus the Thunder’s bigs. Boy, were we wrong. KD scored a team-high 33 points on 11 of 21 shooting with 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. He had three turnovers, but all of them came in the first half. If KD can keep this up I love the Thunder’s chances.” [...]

Harden getting 5 shots isn't from a lack of aggression its from a lack of ever seeing the ball coming towards him. I don't know what is so hard about passing the ball to the open man. Hes open on the wing to start a possession like 99% of the time it feels like, but he only gets a pass about 10%. He's a great distributor (maybe the best combo scorer/passer on the team and he rarely gets the ball when Russ is playing. I'm not a westbrook hater by any means, but he's got to find a way to get the ball to Harden when they are out there together. I remember playing in 2nd grade a drill where you have to pass the ball three times before someone shoots it. Fundamentals are lacking. I absolutely hate seening us come down, dribble the ball for 20 seconds, then toss up a 20ft jumper and run back to play defense, its appalling.

Problems. RW-Not a point guard. PG believe in passing. Russell hasn't since January. Starting Unit-Only two offensive threats. So he doesn't have much to pass to. Himself and KD. Offensive-No schemes or plays at all. Here is our offensive. RW dribbles for 15 secs waiting for Kevin to get open, if Kevin is not open, RW drives to the hoop, and on rare occasions kicks out to Serge.

I watched all of the Spurs series and you're crazy if you think Marc and Z-Bo just made. tough shots. Thats what the spurs thought in game 1 until they did it every single game in the series. Actually if you compare the shots they made today to the shots they made in the San Antonio series these shots look like easy shots compared to those. Belive me (Someone who was rooting for the Spurs) Those shots aren't lucky they just keep going in that's how the team plays Z-bo makes these shots like it's nothing

I`m big thunder fan,but they were flat. Russel Westbrook has to play like a point guard or move to the two guard. Too many shots, more TO's than Assists is a real bad thing!
I really missed that part in your analysis.
Still think Thunder can win!

ThunderUP from Holland!

The next change from presti would be head coaching change. Brooks is not championship caliber. Our defense has not been the same since ron adams left.
Our offense is some of the simplest plays run, we win on talent more than anything.
