Blake's a good guy, so I hear. I don't doubt that. I don't mind him asking for a call or even whining a tad. I hate the flops. I hate the hanging on the rim. Even Pinto couldn't believe he wasn't T'd up for that last night. Dunk it, go down the court, play ball. Don't hang on the rim. That's disrespect. The flopping - I'm not going to suggest he's to the level of Chris Paul, but some of his flops are lame and don't belong in basketball. Classic example was the flagrant against Eddie House on Blake. Go watch it - that flopping on Griffin's part was just ridiculous. If someone hacks you good, by all means flop to the floor and sell it a little. If someone just places a hand on you, please - don't go kamikaze into the padding under the goal. Griffin does it too much, I'm sorry to say.

David, don't misunderstand my comment. It had nothing to do with who is a better player. It's about how incredibly good Blake is and how a stat line on one night illustrated that. It was just a way of putting his night, which has become routine, into perspective. -DM-

For comparisons sake only, my mind is wondering whether Durant or Russell Westbrook have ever had that kind of stat line.

Are you Darnell or Chris Palmer because this sounds like the Blake is better than Durant crap he's been spewing over at ESPN. How many triple doubles has RW had and wasn't he two steals away from a quadruple double last year? This year alone Durant had stats lines like that with more points scored at home vs. New Orleans, and Denver (has Blake ever put in 20 pts in one quarter), and what about @ Miami. Come on, Darnell. Blake is good but he is not in Durant's stratosphere just yet.

[...] Darnell Mayberry: “I thought it was pretty ridiculous that some Thunder fans booed Blake Griffin tonight. He hasn’t done anything to deserve that. It started with his first basket, a dunk 58 seconds into the game. Some said it had something to do with how he acted in the last meeting. What does that even mean? All this talk about how Blake is becoming a “punk” is bogus. The guy gets pummeled on nearly every play. I think he has the right to ask for a call. And I don’t have a problem with staring. That’s not trying to show up anyone in my book. If you don’t like him staring at you, stop him.” [...]

Blake Griffin is the enemy now. He doesn't deserve our cheers. He only played at OU 2 years anyway and the Thunder have been here 3 years.
