Perk had the second-highest field goal percentage in the league last year, behind only Dwight Howard. He may not get as many shots as Krstic did, but he makes better use of them. He also rebounds better and plays better defense than Krstic.

Looking at last year’s stats, Krstic averaged 8.4 points and 5 rebounds. Perkins was 10.1/7.6. Krstic has a higher career average points per game because of the numbers he put up for the Nets before blowing out his knee.

Green was a nice get for the Celtics, playing the sixth man role that he’s best at. That said, let’s see where he winds up and at what price when it comes contract time.
