Watching Durant try to guard Howard was like watching a sports car trying to hold back an earth-mover. Wasn’t going to happen. But it wasn’t Durant’s fault. He was trying for all he was worth, and he wasn’t alone in getting whomped. Howard should have been arrested for Mass Team Abuse, the way he treated the Thunder.

I agree about Howard getting to 40. If you don’t like it, then stop him from getting there. OKC wasn’t good enough to do that. But they will be. In fact, here’s my “would love to have seen this” moment from last night. Right after Howard slams home that shot, Kendrick Perkins checks into the game, walks over to Howard, and says, “let’s try that one again.”

While I think that Dwight should have been subbed out, I disagree in general on howard getting his 40. If the players don’t like it/feel like he was showing them up, they should have stopped it.

I say we chalk this one up as the “We Miss Jeff Green” game and move on.

Couldn’t believe SVG left Howard out there so long. All that said, D12 is one of my favorite players. Maybe it’s his sense of humor and big, easy smile. Same reasons I like Shaq. Big guys who play serious, but don’t take themselves too seriously.
