Jessie, I agree with you. But as Todd said, a letter or call to the Thunder might be a better idea. However, I can tell you that it's not the Thunder's call whether to cancel the game. That's the NBA's decision. And if both teams are in town, as well as the officials, the game will be played. The reason is the NBA schedule is so complex (two teams, their remaining schedule, their travel schedule, arena dates, etc.) that it can be extremely difficult to reschedule a postponed game. But, again, I agree with you. From a business standpoint, it certainly couldn't hurt if the Thunder stepped up and offered something as sort of a token to the folks who couldn't make it. Free tickets to a future game might be a stretch. And I imagine the process of figuring out the exact what and how wouldn't be easy either. -DM-

Jessie,

If the game is on, I doubt there will be any ticket exchanges. Could be I'm wrong, but I suspect it's a case of, you buy the ticket, you take your chances. If the game were cancelled that's another story, but it isn't. But, instead of posting a note about it here, you're probably better served calling their customer line, or emailing them, and ask them directly about a possible exchange or voucher of some kind. Can't hurt to try.

An open letter to the thunder management.

To whom it may concern,
I'm sure your fan base isn't just downtown OKC, and even if it were, perhaps it's irresponsible of you not to cancel tonight's game given the horrible conditions on the Oklahoma road system.

What plans do you have for people who purchased tickets for tonight and will not be able to come to the city for the game? Many of your fans live in rural areas. Seems it would be good for them and for your corporate image if you allowed them to exchange tonight's tickets for a different game.

Main highways may be open but the DPS recommends not traveling. Side roads, even driveways all over the state are impassable due to snow drifts.

Please consider what I say here seriously.

Thank you.
