Spurs have league’s best record but you can clearly see the attitude by a winning coach and organization. This the message coach brooks should be giving to these young impressionable players. The team doesn’t play hard on defense and when your coach is ok with it you can forget deep playoff run by this team. This team would be lucky to reach second round of playoffs.

Coach brooks is a new head coach and he doesn’t want to ride these guys too hard. He has seen first hand how team shut out pj carlesimo, and he lost his job. Coach brooks like his millions, as he should, so he is OK with the team’s performance.
