But there’s no other way to say it; the Thunder needs at least 1 big man. Last night, Dwight Howard scored 39 points and grabbed 18 rebounds, and most experts say several times the Thunder lacks size. Who is our best big? Jeff Green? Green is a perminator player, not an inside player. Nenad Krstic? Give me a break! Nick Collison? Serge Ibaka? Now I believe Ibaka is the Thunder’s best big, but he is light. We will need at least 1 big who can muscle, rebound, and score effectively in the paint. If you say the 9-man will not be touched, then Scott Brooks will expand it to 10-men (or more). But the Thunder needs big bodies to compete for a championship.
