I love how RW has been playing, and honestly wouldn’t trade his straight up for any other PG in the league right now. But has his emergence been a factor in KD’s struggles to this point? Not that he’s playing all that bad, but his play is down from last year. Is it just a case of them having to learn to play together all over again? It’s been, for me, one of the more interesting dynamics of the first quarter of the season. Even though they still have some stuff to figure out (guarding PFs, 3 pt shooting, bench play at both guard positions), I’d rather have them win while doing so than lose. Can we expect this year’s team to grow during the season, much like last year’s team did?

They still have to get a true power forward who is not needed against average powers but against the elite ones like West, Gasol and Boozer. Jeff just doesn’t cut it and you can’t spot 10 points every time he plays against them. I’m sure Presti is staying up nights thinking how he can do this without ripping the commaraderie of the Thunder.
