Ibaka is making a pretty strong case to keep the starting job at power forward. The play where he grabbed two offensive boards and eventually airballed the close shot? Definitely the prettiest ugly play I’ve ever seen.

Don, clearly there were bad calls both ways. In the 3d Durant pulled up for a 3, cj miles head hit durant’s elbow, and durant, the superstar, did not get the foul. Miles did the exact same move on Maynor latter in the game and he got the call. The refs also got the call wrong on the inbound pass at the end of the game. Durant should have got the freethows and the Thunder should have received possession. Plus, I can’t tell you how many times the Thunder were called for bogus rebounding fouls

Sorry, bud, but to simply criticize Darnell on the basis of not pointing out a few “bad” calls is uncalled for and clearly biased towards Utah.

Geez, Darnell. All this blather about players and strategy. I’ve been visiting lots of Jazz fan sites while waiting for your generally excellent game notes. Clearly, this game boiled down to one simple factor: Steve Javie. Apparently he hates the Jazz, and especially Jerry Sloan.

Bad calls tonight accounted for a 31-point advantage for the Thunder, according to expert Utah-based sources.
