I agree with Scott Brooks. The Thunder made only 35.6% of the shots. And Miami’s defense was subpar, so the Thunder had wide open attempts, but we just missed them. If the Thunder had a big who can score in the paint, we will solve most of the problems. But the Thunder didn’t have it yet.

I would like to see Ibaka at the 4 teamed up with Aldrich more. Serge needs a physical center opposite him (Cole or Collie). The Green/Ibaka combo does not appear to be working out well. Not saying that Bosh wouldn’t have taken him to the woodshed like he did Green, but Ibaka does have a bit more length (and he didn’t do bad against Odom in the playoffs when Collison was playing center).

My comment is simply that medium-gray is a poor choice for the font color in this blog. There’s a reason the rest of the site site (or the NY Times for that matter) isn’t gray-on-white…it’s hard to read!

As for the Thunder, you’re right that they were sloppy and at times selfish, but it’s far too early to conclude anything. It’s telling that the defensive mishaps cited are Cole Aldrich and Serge Ibaka. Also, every team is going to occasionally look bad against LeBron, Bosh, and (soon) Wade.
