He may log a few minutes at center playing in international competition, but no way in the NBA. He only got spot minutes at power forward.

Of course. In two years with more muscle, he will play there at times. Why not try it now with only Chandler legitimately there but who would be a total liability at the end of the game. My dog Tulip can shoot free throws better than he can. I would guess that is what the coaches had in mind, but he would also force the opposition to change its defensive tactics. Very out of the box maneuver.

Novel idea, but KD is tall but oh-so lanky. He’d get beat to death @ the 5 against most teams. Pushed, shoved, manhandled and roughed-up leaves your Number One guy tired, possibly injured and worse INEFFECTIVE. Coach K may want to reconsider this “all experimentation” event.
