Just ran this trade successfully through The Trade Machine. . . C.Paul & Okafor to OKC for R.Westbrook, J.Green, N.Collison & Krstic. It gives NO $21 million of expiring contracts that they are looking for. For OKC, it teams an elite, experienced All-Star PG with Durant, Ibaka Harden and Cook, adding a tough defensive rounder inside. Interesting, but far-fetched.

I don’t know, but I’d trade Harden in a second to get Chris Paul. I wouldn’t mind seeing Paul be our point guard and Westbrood going back to the two guard! Stupidest thing I ever saw, taking Harden with a number three pick! Everyone praises Presti, I think he should be fired! Worst GM in the NBA!

Paul is a great pg but Russ is a big part of this team’s success. I don’t think the chemistry would be as good with Paul. It’s Westbrook all the way for me.

I would be concerned about his nagging injuries, also. Plus, you won’t have to pay Russell Paul’s money. It’s moot anyway.

Chris Paul’s best years? He was playing in his first 2 NBA years in OKC. Since that time, CP3 was in the Olympic games, he was in the All-Star Games, and arguably was considered the best young PG in the league. And Paul is still valuable after the knee injury (he only had arthroscopic surgery). But he is fine now.
