What Will Durant Do With His Money?
On July 1, 2011, Kevin Durant will get a raise that’s more than double what he’s set to make in the upcoming season.
He’ll go from earning just over $6 million to more than $14 million.
So what’s a guy to do with all that extra cash?
The same thing any loving son would do, of course. Splurge on his mother.
“Ask my mother what she wants,” Durant ensured. “Whatever she wants I’m going to try to get it for her. She sacrificed so much for me so it’s whatever she wants. New car, new house, whatever.”
