brooks should put in kyle weaver over maynor. maynors better at offens but he not against the lakers and he's not a very good defender or passer weaver is. put weaver in at pg when westbrooks out. i think that move would make okc win!

scott brooks doesnot seem to adjust much, I agree ibaka should start and jeff off the bench, that way he would not be so tired all the time and have his legs under him. Also coach is not keeping the other coach guessing with crunch time plays. On the second last play when gasol drew offensive call (by flopping) he recognized the play from the one coach brooks used in boston and lakers were able to counter. Check out http://nbaplaybook.com/2010/04/21/the-lakers-defend-a-thunder-go-to-play-perfectly/

I hope coach gets more creative and take some risks, he has nothing to loose down 2. How about trying weaver to hit some threes and he defends well, replace harden with weaver.

[...] Darnell Mayberry: “Offensively, the Thunder is struggling. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were the lone players who had anything going offensively. Nenad Krstic contributed a little in the third like he always does. But someone has to be able to make shots. Jeff Green needs to be that guy.
I believe that the Thunder should play more the paint by driving hard on the Laker's big men to collect fouls, including Thabo Sefolosha, Westbrook, Green, Nenad and Ibaka. I don't agree with Scott Brooks on letting his players taking three pointers especially by Durant and Green in the last minute because by driving hard to the basket they could have gotten three point via a shot and a foul. The rebounding was also a factor for the loss with 12 rebounds going to the Lakers and also the assist was more for the lakers.

Why did the Thunder not play Etan Thomas who has the height, bulk and experience to use his weight, rebound, space and shooting ability to negate the Bynum and Gasol height in follow-ups, rebound, and block shots? Collison is short to defend Bynum and Green is also short to cover Gasol. Ibaka should cover Gasol and Thomas or Nenad should play Bynum, while Thabo or Durant are the right men to guard Kobe, Green on Odom, who is not in scoring mode and Westbrook or Maynor on Fischer. Harden and the rest are not yet seasoned to play in big games as can be seen!

I must ask a question. What is the love affair with Jeff Green when his man (Between Gasol when he was on him and Kobe down the stretch) must have scored over 40 points and Jeff was his usual offensive self and a hug 4 board making that 19 in 5 games for a "power" forward.

Why not start Ibaka instead of getting down by 10 in the first quarter and see what happens? There were several loose balls where Jeff shied away from the contact. We should win the next one and I would be surprised if Artest doesn' get called for the pushing and holding when the game is at home.
