Look at it like the All-Star rosters. There is always someone else who could or perhaps should have gotten the nod. But who are you going to replace to give them that spot? It’s the same way with this year’s COY award. There isn’t a logic argument out there that someone is MORE deserving than Brooks. Yes, others deserve it. But have they done enough to snatch it away from Brooks? Absolutely not. -DM-

I don’t mean to rain on your parade, but the first 13 games under Scott Brooks, the Thunder’s record was the same 1-12 as P.J. Carlesimo. And I found faults with his record this year. Now I have no doubt that Brooks is a better coach than Carlesimo, but Coach of the Year? No way.
