Ibaka is the current story. Given his body, his age, his reflexes and hopping ability, his potential is perhaps staggering. I would think that they will work on his ball handling and even dribbling over the summer and look to start him at center. Why not? Everyone on the team can drive and without a clog in the middle, the team would be fascinating.

The other work would be to help Harden to go to his right but that should come.

Darnell:

Since no one else seems very captivated by the Thunder (maybe they can be traded for the Knicks plus $100 million) I’ll add something on Jeff Green who I have bashed frequently. What is your take on his sudden pretty dramatic improvement, quickness, driving and even passing. That’s why I am a next day quarterback or poing guard. What a change he is bringing.

Chuck, if you want Serge Ibaka to be a center, you want Ibaka to put on weight first, in the off-season. Ibaka weighs 220lbs., the same as me, and I am 6’3, and I don’t consider myself large or big. At 6’10, he is too thin, and other centers will push and post him around and negate his vertical jump. However, Ibaka will put on muscle, not fat, while maintaining his quickness and his vertical. Doing that, Ibaka can be a Dwight Howard-type center we all crave (except Howard’s horrendous FT%).
