Thomas is right on the money. I was sure that Presti would take Brook Lopez as he dropped in the ’08 draft (over Westbrook who better turn out to be REAL good).
Lopez is the 7-footer (not Krystic, Mullens, Sene, Swift or Petro) who will produce consistent double-doubles while providing the kind of low cost, inside defensive presence that all teams crave.
It is still easier to find serviceable point guards than it is to find franchise centers. As much as I love Presti, I think that OKC, Miami, NY, Milw., Char. & the Clippers all blew it by passing on Lopez.
Just proves that the draft it is not an exact science.

The Thunder’s weakest area is inside offense (both Green and Krstic shoot from the perimeter), so we need a big who scores well from the paint and rebounds via trading (now that we have the maximum players allowed). And as for rebounding, a winning team’s best rebounder averages doubles in rebounding.
