tulsa man, i tried to read all of that, but your lack of punctuation and poor spelling was giving me a headache. (“prejudice rederick”) and the only person talking about racism right now is you. no one cares about race with regards to the nba, the only thing people care about is money. okc obviously has more money, or at least people willing to spend it, because we have the team. if tulsa is bigger than san antonio, and just as cool as okc, where’s tulsa’s nba team?

and one more thing: stop crying about the type (race) of artists that are playing the bok center. lil wayne will be there on the 19th. and they can only book who’s touring. kanye’s playing europe, snoop’s in austrailia, and jay-z’s doing one show in los angeles. that is one problem with hip-hop and r&b. not enough touring compared to what rock and country bands do. in the top 50 concert tours on pollstar.com, none of them are hip-hop acts. (kid rock is not hip-hop.) a band like metallica plays hundreds of shows a year, jay-z does two. that’s why not many rappers are playing tulsa, they’re not playing anywhere. it is not hidden racism. that is ridiculous to say.

tulsa man, i was reading everything that was said about my comment first to the donuteyes guy i’m not here to argue about the name. the name is actually okay its the colors and logo i’m concern about if you are so intelegent then you would have read the point i was making about looking into the website that i put in post#10 and see which logo lookes better. the logo a kid made or onehighpriced nba business men made, it’s not the question of it could have been worst ?it’s the issue of attraction and thats (team logo and colors)obviouslyisnotattrative so in that case it is “WORST”. and two:with the comment that you (donuteyes)made about you guys in okc and us guys in the other little city yaddy yaddy yaddy it was since you say, you guys owner who said that he wanted to make it a oklahoman team so with that being the case i and others have the right to comment on the team i don’t have a problem with it being put in okc it is obviously the biggest city in oklahoma but biggest doesn’t always mean the best (ala)san antonio spurs tulsa is actually bigger than san antonio so trying to talk bad about tulsa is not an issue. (the comments you made in post 11 and 13)man okc ain’t all dat actually oklahoma isn’t and besides college football this will be the only excitment here.no one ever thought about the players they are coming from a city that is alive (jumpin’,slammin’,just plain out got it going on with the night life)and now they are coming to dead ass oklahoma including okc what are they going to do put tobacco in their mouths and see who can spit the farthest contest or go to the country bars and listen to waylynn jennings records these are african american men mostly and oklahoma and the prejudice rederick that goes on here will not fit their lifestyles the only thing white oklahomans think about is white oklahomans and the hell with what other racesthinks.thats just like our new bok center here (which is better than the ford center all around) has booked all of these white acts to come to T-town as if we african americans) arentpayingtaxes on that same building as the(caucasians, or rednecks)so think about that if we (african americans) can help pay for the bok center then where are the artist that attract us.HIDDEN RACISM!!!futhermore you called it ya’lls team(okcthunder) the city is not that large and populated to handle that team all by it’s lonesome.for any thing pro (football,basketball,baseball,hockey ect.) it’s going to take the whole states particapation because our cities in a whole aren’t large enough alone or have enough intrest so its going to take okc,tulsans muskogee,lawton,macalister,ardmore you get my point hopefully,if i say the hell with that sorry team there will be others probably some that may beevenon the team because of the lack of african american intrest here.and i have’nt seen and all white nba team yet.so think other than white america,think america we need to quit being selfish and think about other people races and creeds. i did like what you said in your post #26 go obama and not becuse he’s african american but because he’s the better canadate even though oklahomans always pick REPUBLICAN even if the canadate isn’t any good (aka)GOERGE W. BUSH theres that HIDDEN RACISM again!!!!!

Who voted for that? There is nothing “thunder” about this logo. What exactly the colors of the team? Cocky name with a lame logo. The opurtunities were endless and this is it? wow…….
who was actually paid to create this and who said go with that one…..I want names. I look at it and want to yawn.

Please tell me who designed this logo. Come on OKC you are better than this, this is an embarrassment to the league and the city. All i know is someone made thousands of dollars for making a design I could have made when I was in the third grade, ridiculous.

There is a lot of great looking merch out there for the thunder not just the baby blue stuff. Lighten up people this team will be a success oklahoma fans are great fans and loyal. the hornets got a little taste of that and now imagine how motivted the team will be when they play to a packed house every night. we will not be the laughing stock of the nba like everyone is saying, we will be like the diamonds in the middle of nowhere, kinda like OU. I am very proud to say i am a season ticket holder and have already purchased a number of different items to support the team and look forward to buying more things in the future as the team settles in.

Well lets hope they change the logo mr.donuteyes . The name is cool, and i’ve never had a problem with the name. I’ve seen better designs for the logo. That design that they have now looks so feminine and gay and so WNBA’ish.
