I didn’t hear it myself, but they were talking on the radio this afternoon about Doug Gottlieb saying Desmond was really upset about coming back here. Doesn’t sound like it from DM’s conversation. Come to think of it, it was Gottlieb, who has this need to remind everyone that he was the greatest college point guard ever.

Unfortunately, they did retire #24 in 2007.

One question: It would be nice to have Mason at #24, but that’s a number the old SuperSonics retired (for Spencer Haywood). Is this going to be a consideration when they issue jerseys?
