Maybe Ed would get some credit, but “Potatoes” just leaves most people saying, “Huh?” It is original. Nobody else would have ever associated Oklahoma City or the team with potatoes, hence the reason people just shake their heads.

I’m guessing he’s the kind of person that has to check back every few minutes to see if anyone’s noticed.

The ticket prices takes my breath away. I had season tickets in Section 115 for the Hornets games for two years and paid $75 per seat the first year and $82 per seat the second year. Those seats are now $150, which would be $12,600 for two tickets for a full season. That’s more than my mortgage for a year.

Check out season tickets on the Mavs site. OKC’s ticket prices for most lowel level seats are $10 to $35 per ticket higher, and the Mavs ticket prices are in the top third in the league.
