I believe Utah screwed the pooch on this one. Unless they are planning on doing some wheeling and dealing come the trade deadline or during the next offseason, they will be in luxury tax hell. And seeing how the culture of players is nowadays, Boozer and Okur will opt out after this upcoming season. To keep those guys, they are going to have to increase their pay and their years under contract. While Booz is very important, Okur is even more important to their offense. If Okur was a back to the basket player, that lane would be clogged up all day every day. Since he is more of a shooting big man, that opens up the lane for D.Williams. They have relatively cheap players at SG, which will make them easy to trade. The question is, which one will become a star and which one will be a bust? Is it Korver, or Almond, or Brewer, or Miles? I guess only time will tell, but in that time, Larry Miller will be having to sell a lot of cars to pay that lux tax.
