Free Book Friday returns!
It’s time for another round of TTBFBFBF, or as it’s more commonly known, The Thirsty Beagle Facebook Free Book Friday.
Today’s offering is “Tasting Beer: An Insider’s Guide to the World’s Greatest Drink,” by Randy Mosher.
The book retails for $16.95, but of course you can have it for free by visiting The Thirsty Beagle Facebook page and liking the FB post about this blog post. At 5 p.m., I’ll randomly select a winner from all of the likes, and the book will be on its way to the lucky fan.
Good luck, and happy beer reading!
Daily Pints
-According to a new report, the Thunder and Spurs have the NBA’s cheapest beer prices. Who has the most expensive beer? Phoenix, followed closely by Miami, Boston and Washington. Everyone always talks about how well-run the Thunder and Spurs are. Obviously that carries over to the beer-strategy department.
-Did you know Byron’s Liquor Warehouse has an online newsletter/club for beer fans?
-Marshall Brewing’s spring seasonal — Revival Red Ale — started showing up in liquor stores yesterday. Marshall is also holding a special release party tonight for the beer, featuring a special cask-aged version of Revival Red Ale aged on blood oranges.
