Old Germany opens Turek’s Tavern sports bar
There’s yet another beer-drinking, sports-watching option open now, especially for people in the Choctaw or eastern Oklahoma County area.
Mike Turek of Old Germany restaurant this week opened the doors to Turek’s Tavern, a new sports bar adjacent to Old Germany.
The bar will be open noon to midnight seven days a week, although it will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Turek says they will feature 20 beers on tap, as well as a selection of bottled beer, plus wine and other drinks. There are TVs for sports-watching and German-gastro-pub offerings including schnitzel sandwiches, brats on a bun, Reuben on marble rye, wings, pizza and other selections. There will be indoor and outdoor seating and TVs in both areas.
