Beer list, menu set for International Stout Day at TapWerks

Thursday night is the second annual International Stout Day at TapWerks. I just got a look at the beer list/food menu, and let me tell you, you don’t want to miss this one!

Here’s a list provided by TapWerks of the special casks from local/regional brewers:

Anthem: Atrum Belgian Stout—Belgian style stout made with two different kinds of Belgian Candi sugar. 6% ABV

Choc: Sour Winter Stout— A sour version of their Winter Stout. Fermented with a blend of Brett, Lacto and Pedio. The base beer uses Columbus and Cascade hops on the front end, & a dry-hopping with Centennial and Citra hops. 8% ABV

COOP: Territorial Reserve Oak Aged Imperial Stout. 11% ABV

COOP (UPSTAIRS): Raspberry Territorial Reserve Oak Aged Imperial Stout— TROAIS aged on 3 lbs of raspberries. 11% ABV

Marshall: Black Dynamite—A scary blend of El Cucuy and Big Jamoke, called Black Dynamite. Bittersweet chocolate, roasted malts, dry hopped with Citra and Cascade. IBUs through the roof! 7.5% ABV

Prairie Artisan Ales: Prairie Noir—A preview of this brand new brewery’s stout. 9% ABV Imperial Oatmeal Stout aged for 1 month on 5lbs of raspberries.

Salty and Half Pint will be celebrating the 2nd annual International Stout Day at the Surly Goat in LA tomorrow. See you there!

Lynn – I believe it’s pronounced coo-cooh-A. In my book, it’s one of the top beers to come out of Oklahoma (maybe the best).
