Organizers put new spin on sold-out ZooBrew IV
I had planned to do a blog post today letting you know all about ZooBrew IV and how you could go about getting tickets, etc., etc., but lo and behold, as of this morning, ZooBrew IV is officially sold out at 850 tickets!
That’s great news for the Oklahoma City Zoo, as proceeds from ZooBrew benefit the zoo’s museum. And of course, it means you can expect to rub elbows with a lot of beer fans next Friday (Sept. 28) at the event. For those of you who have tickets, here are some things you can look forward to this year:
-The event location has been moved this year to the Lakeside Pavilion; trams will be provided to transport guests through the zoo and to the pavilion.
-Food offerings this year will include a selection of $3 offerings: sliders and onion rings; bratwurst and kettle chips; or strawberry funnel crepes.
-Free food will include chicken wings, cheese and crackers, chips and dips and fresh veggies and dip.
-Total tickets for sale were bumped up to 850 this year, from 750 last year.
-You can expect about 60 or more beer and cider offerings this year. Here’s the beer list, which will include as-yet unspecified offerings from Huebert’s, Bricktown Brewery and Belle Isle Brewery:
