Choc rolling out yet another new brew
Say hello to the newest member of Choc Beer Co.’s beer lineup. After seeing the success of their Spring IPA, Choc has decided to add Oklahoma Pale Ale to it’s year-round lineup. The beer will “More or less … be an extension” of the IPA, Choc’s Zach Prichard said. Like the IPA, this beer will be dry-hopped, but it should check in with a little less strength, in the 6.5 to 7 percent range (the IPA is 7.6 percent).
You can’t have enough good pale ales, is the way I look at. In fact, I’m planning a special pale ale for my next homebrew project. (It will only be my third homebrew attempt, so I use the word “special” lightly.)
OPA comes on the heels of Choc’s recently released Gose and Gratzer, and right along with the yet-to-be released Belgian Trippel. I’m sure these are busy days in Krebs.

Lynn1: Agreed, the Winter Stout is excellent — it was one of my favorite winter beers this past season.
Hey Nick,
Alex at the Brewers Association here. I’m sure you’re familiar with the Brewers Association but just in case you aren’t, we are the non-profit beer advocacy group for America’s small and independent craft brewers.
I’d like to ask for your contact information so that we can get you added to our media contact list. This list can be requested by member breweries annual as outreach for media people. We don’t share this information and if we contact you it will be seldom.
