About this time last year, I blogged about a guy in Iowa who was going to try to re-create a monk-style Lent fast where he would go 46 days drinking only beer and water.
The man succeeded, and reported this year about how the experience treated him.

Pretty interesting read, especially the part about how drinking beer all day for seven straight weeks caused him to lose 25 pounds. OK, well, probably the absence of all other calories caused him to lose 25 pounds, but whatever, it still sounds like a good plan to drink beer all day.
