Beer Championship Series round one is complete
The first round of the TapWerks Beer Championship Series came to a close this evening. We’ve now cut the field in half, from 64 beers down to 32. Let’s take a look at Thursday’s winners:
-Marshall Oktoberfest (56 percent) def. COOP Oktoberfest (44 percent)
-Dogfish Head 60-Minute IPA (65 percent) def. Choc Spring IPA (35 percent)
-Choc Signature Dubbel (70 percent) def. Belle Isle Powerhouse Porter (30 percent)
-Battered Boar 405 Oklahoma Lager (57 percent) def. Shiner Bock (43 percent)
-Belle Isle Flanagan’s Amber Ale (57 percent) def. Cooper’s Lager (43 percent)
-Battered Boar Company Man Pale Ale (55 percent) def. Leinenkugel Summer Shandy (45 percent)
-Orval Trappiste Ale (51 percent) def. New Belgium Mothership Wit (49 percent)
-COOP Zeppelin German Wheat (65 percent) def. Sapporo (35 percent)
