Oklahoma beer news report: Oct. 25

Scanning the beer universe to find news for you. That’s what I do.

-This week’s Firkin Friday at McNellie’s OKC features the return of Marshall’s El Cucuy. This, people, is a good beer.

-In other El Cucuy news, Marshall will unveil the 2o11 vintage of its India-style black ale on Thursday night from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elote Cafe in Tulsa.

-Do you often lament the lack of craft beer options when you go to OSU games in Stillwater? Put this in your pocket: You can score Mustang cans and bottles inside and outside of Eskimo Joes.

-Redbud Brewing’s new chocolate Arbor Imperial Stout should hit liquor store shelves any day now.

-Did you ever think the only thing missing from cookies is beer?

-Mustang’s new seasonal beer, Winter Lager, was bottled today. Expect to see that in stores soon.

-Speaking of seeing things in stores, Choc’s new seasonal, Winter Stout, should be in stores next week.

-Bricktown Brewery is hosting a Halloween costume party on Saturday night.

-COOP Ale Works and TapWerks will celebrate Halloween on Monday with a special firkin.

-There’s enjoying a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon, and then there’s enjoying a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon.
