Red Earth Brewers pick new logos
The newest homebrewing club in the Oklahoma City area — the Red Earth Brewers — recently announced that a call for new logos for the club resulted in a pair of choices.
To recap, the club started with this:
And now has upgraded to this and this:
Personally, I prefer the hand/mug logo over the bottle cap logo. I’m not sure if one will win out over the other eventually, or if the plan is to use both. Any REB members know the scoop?

Nick, thanks for the write-up. Our club members voted and narrowed it down to these two from more than a dozen original entries. I think, for most things, we’ll be using the mug logo (which was the leading vote-getter). But there are some things (such as our Twitter profile pic) where the bottle cap logo just shows up better. And we have some great graphic artists in our group, so it’s entirely possible that we may continue to upgrade as we get new ideas.
