That’s right beer fans! The winner of the 2010 Beer Championship Series claims the coveted Golden Tap Handle Trophy, where the beer’s name will be etched in immortality. Maybe a little too dramatic? Heck no! This is the Golden Tap Handle Trophy we’re talking about here!
So who’s going to win it this year? I can’t tell you that, but I can tell the four beers that won second-round match-ups on Wednesday and advanced to the Sweet 16.
Oklahoma City Region
-Choc Waving Wheat – 52 percent, Chimay Red – 48 percent
Krebs Region
-Sam Adams Octoberfest – 52 percent, New Belgium Mothership Wit - 48 percent
Metro Region
-Marshall Atlas IPA – 76 percent, Oskar Blue Dale’s Pale Ale - 24 percent
Tulsa Region
-COOP Zeppelin German Wheat – 57 percent, Choc Summer Ale – 43 percent
