Beer, bratwurst coming ’round the bend
What has men in high socks, bratwurst, accordion music and beer all over it? Why, it’s Choctaw’s annual Oktoberfest celebration, and it’s coming up faster than you think. This year’s event is set for Sept. 8-11 at Choctaw Creek Park. Our good friends at Old Germany Restaurant are all over this deal. You can find more information at this link. In addition, organizers are looking for volunteers for the event. In exchange, you get a T-shirt and free beer and pizza after tear-down on Sept. 12.
