Would you drink beer made by 7-Eleven?

That’s right. Not “sold at” 7-Eleven. MADE BY 7-Eleven. The company is hoping you will, because it will soon be rolling out a line of in-house beer called Game Day Light and Game Day Ice. The company is billing the beer as “premium beer” at a non-premium price. The thought of buying a beer made in the back of a 7-Eleven gives me the shudders. But fear not, the people at 7-Eleven at least know they don’t know how to make beer — they’re outsourcing that to a Wisconsin company. Still, the company better hope the low price point lures people in, because the taste of budget beer sure won’t do it. You can read more about the new 7-Eleven beer right  here.

i’d at least give it a try before turning my nose up at it. no shame in my game. my game being alcoholism that is. lol!

Sad. This is exactly what the world needs – more flavorless, watered-down, budget-priced beer.

AWESOME, this is what we need more cheap crap from which to choose. From what I know the 7-11 dirt water is made by City Brewery of LaCrosse, WI, the same company that makes Sam Adams, Mike’s line of girl brews, and my FAVORITE Kronic. So needless to say, I will not be savoring one of these fine beverages….. unless I can get one in a 32oz. bottle with a free paper sack, and some of those bubba teeth to complete the look. Guess I’ll stick to Pancho’s where I can get the good stuff.

I’m sorry some of your commentor’s are so negative. I find Gameday Ice Ale very refreshing with a crisp clean taste without a lenghy after taste. No headaches later either. In my opinion price doesn’t alway’s determine quality and for the price, Gameday Ice work’s for me! I’m of German decent and have sample many brew’s and Gameday has been added to my beverage list. Thank’s!
