Beer has multi-billion dollar impact
A new study shows that the beer industry had a nearly $200 billion annual impact on the U.S. economy. Some other tidbits from the study:
-The beer industry provides 1.9 million jobs
-It generates nearly $62 billion in wages and benefits
-And paid $41 billion in taxes in 2008
