More on man who sold daughter for beer and meat
The Thirsty Beagle some time back brought you the story of a California man who sold his 16-year-old daughter into marriage in exchange for beer, meat and $16,000. The case is back in the news this week after the man pleaded no contest to felony child endangerment. Now, in no way is TTB advocating the selling of your daughter, but I gotta be honest, if someone offered me $16,000, beer and meat, I could find a lot of things I would part with. Of course, I’d be pretty happy with just beer and meat, so maybe my standards aren’t that high.
