At least you don’t live in Tennessee

So you’re a beer enthusiast living in Oklahoma. You might think you’ve got it bad here in the Sooner State, what with our 3.2 percentĀ beer. Admittedly, that is bad. But at least you don’t live in the heart of Tennessee, the state with the highest beer tax in the country, according to the Beer Institute (can I work there?) and the Tennessee Malt Beverage Association. A recent study showed that folks in Tennessee pay about $6 in taxes for every 24-bottle case of beer. Yikes.
