Thanks for your comments Christie. Yes, Power Chicken in Honduras is a really fun place to eat. The energy in the restaurant is fantastic. The think I especially liked about it is the efficiency at which everyone was working. Plus, you can tell that all the diners really enjoy the experience. Can't wait to go back myself!!

Oh, Power Chicken was the BEST! We went with a very large group (there were at least 25 of us) and did the family style platters. The carne asada was the best I had ever eaten, and the sweet plantains were SO good. The chicken and the pork were also very good. I wish a place like Power Chicken was in the US, it would be awesome!

Aldo-
Thanks for another positive comment on Power Chicken in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Amazing how many people I have heard from that love Power Chicken. Every time I get a positive comment, it makes me want to jump on the next flight to San Pedro Sula and grab a Power Chicken lunch and have the plate loaded up from fried yucca. Yum!!

Next time you go to San Pedro Sula, you should also try Ni Fu Ni Fa restaurant in San Pedro Sula. I have a post about it here in the Honduras thread. I have thought about their steaks ever since eating in their restaurant.

Power Chicken for lunch and Ni Fu Ni Fa for dinner. What a combo!!

Thanks for the confirmation of Power Chicken, San Pedro Sula. I plan to eat there every chance I get. If you want a really good steak, you might want to also check out NiFu NiFa restaurant in San Pedro Sula, another one of my faves. Thanks for your comment

Jack-
I think you are right. The set a great standard for quick, efficient service. Another chicken place I like that originated in Guatemala is Pollo Campero. They have them in the U.S. now. Thanks for confirming the "power" of Power Chicken in Honduras

Power Chicken is the BEST. I have eaten there at least 20 times over the past five years and there has never been one time the place was not packed and the food absolutely fantastic. This place would kick ass in the US.

Shawnie S-
yes, you are right about PC. I also like it better than McD's. When I compared it, it was only for the popularity index in Honduras. It was probably more crowded than McD's usually are. Next time I go back to Honduras, PChick is certainly on my "to-do" list again. Thanks for your comment.

I recently traveled from southern Oklahoma to Honduras with a group doing medical missions and we ate at Power Chicken about every other night. I have to say comparing it to McDonalds does not do it justice. The Power Chicken menu items we had were outstanding. They brought out large platters of fried rice, sweet fried plantains, beef steak and a type of jerk spiced chicken and ribs. YUMMM. We became big fans of Power Chicken :). Can't wait till next year.
