Barbuda has a bird sanctuary, an old house dating back to the slave trade times and a cave with some wall drawings. Other than that, what you see in the pictures is what you get. Miles and miles of beaches with no one but you on them, with peace and quiet thrown in for free !

Thanks Mark. It is definately on my list of places to visit. It is hard to believe there hasn’t been more development there especially since I had first heard about the beautiful deserted beaches there so many years ago. Doesn’t seem to have changed much over the years.

I think you had told me that the islanders were not to keen on much development?

Great story Steve, Barbudan is a hidden jewel.For peace and solitude and miles and miles of wonderful beaches, this is the place.
