Carlos was another very nice Mexican that I met on the recent Grupo Click/Mexicana flight to Villahermosa. I was seated between him and Bruno. They both offered to give us a ride to the bus station for the bus to Palenque. I told them both that I would send them some commemorative coins from the U.S. which I did on Monday of this week. Carlos is a financial analyst for a major Mexican construction company. Bruno is a sales rep for a major Pharmacuetical company. Just part of meeting nice people on a journey to foreign countries.

I recently met Bruno on a Mexicana flight from Mexico City to Villahermosa, Tabasco, MX. My wife and I were running late to catch a bus in Villahermosa to the Mayan ruins of Palenque after a long day of travel delays. Bruno offered for he and his wife to personally drive us to the bus station in Villahermosa. We took them up on it. They were a very nice couple and very helpful. Just a sample of the hospitality you find in Mexico. I will soon be posting some reports on our travels through southern Mexico to San Cristobal.

The trip to Colombia was great! I will have 3 or 4 more posts soon about the rest of the trip. A great place to visit that is not overrun by tourists.
