4-H Collecting Pet Food for Meals on Wheels
4-H students are collecting pet food to help the Meals on Wheels program.
The program needs pet food because some clients were sharing their meals with their pets because they either couldn’t get pet food, couldn’t carry it or could not afford it, according to a press release from 4-H.
A former Cleveland County 4-H student started the program and club members decided to continue it. The club needs food for large and small dogs, cat food and bird seed.
The club is accepting donations at the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Office at 601 E. Robinson, Norman, which is at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds. For more information, contact the 4-H office at 321-4774 or email susan.farrow@okstate.edu, brenda.hill@okstate.edu or justibm@okstate.edu.
