Cowboys and critters – sign up today!
The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum loves animals! We here at Pet Show always knew they were good apples over there. They’re summer camp this year is “Critter Camp.” Here’s info they sent out about the kids camp:
The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City is hosting its annual youth camp June 22-26 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. This year the camp has an outdoors and wildlife theme titled “Critter Camp.”
The camp is suitable for children ages 8 to 12. Campers will learn about animals and the environment around them, all while having fun. Sessions will explore the interconnection of life forms and show how baby animals start their lives and the types of camouflage they use to hunt and hide. One session will be spent at the Oklahoma City Zoo guided by an instructor.
Campers will touch and learn with different animals each day (hand sanitizer provided and required.) Tuition is $75 for Museum members and $85 for nonmembers. Crafts and snacks are included. Advance reservations are requested and can be made by calling (405) 478-2250, Ext. 219.
