Buzzards spotted downtown
Sandina Heckert of Oklahoma City spotted a unique sight in downtown this week, and she sent us a picture. Here’s what she saw:
There are buzzards downtown! I work in the Devon building and yesterday out of the corner of my eye, I saw what I at first thought was an eagle making circles in the air outside my office widow, but after a closer look I discovered it was a BIG buzzard! They are perched atop the Renaissance hotel. My office window is on the 16th floor facing south, so I have a good view. They’ve been there for two days now and there are three of them. I’ve never seen anything like it before. They seem very interested in looking in the rooftop atrium windows of the hotel. Not sure if the hotel has noticed them yet or not.
