i was considering buying a puppy from a pet place in ohio that is owned and ran by the amish after reading this horrible story i know longer want to buy a puppy or anything else from the amish i just cant beleive this.I am a n animal lover and it breaks my heart to read this why cant the law do something?

I agree with Carol Wilhelm’s comment above. I wonder how these cruel people can sleep at night knowing what they are putting these poor helpless animals through. It is such a sad thing. Living in Lancaster we have heard too many times about the conditions that some people have these animals living in. With all the homeless animals already in the world, why do they continue to breed the numbers that they do. It just does not make sense. I think the new laws that just got passed are the least these people can do to provide care for the animals they have taken on. I just hope people out there read this and decide if they do want an animal to be sure to adopt one and not buy and support these horrible breeders.

Thank you for making the invisible visible to those who must see it to begin to end it. Only by knowing and seeing reality can we hope to change what needs to be changed. Imagine life without a voice, without a key, without a choice, without hope, without peace, without assurance that such conditions will ever end. Just look into the eyes of these precious creatures, who deserve the best life that we can provide or at least protect. Every living being deserves a life without suffering. We should never rest until everyone is free to rest.
