PAWS-OK Joins Online Pet Listing

Pet Adoption and Welfare Services of OK has joined Petfinder.com to list its adoptable pets online. The online database lists more than 300,000 homeless pets in the United States and Canada.

People can view the rescue pets from PAWS-OK there and maybe find a new pet. Petfinder.com helps people find pets according to the criteria that they enter and their zip codes. Adoptions are handled through the local animal welfare organizations that listed the animals.

A couple started Petfinder.com in 1996 as a way to help end the euthanasia of adoptable pets and a press release from the organization states that it has helped facilitate about 15 million adoptions since then.
