Here’s a little slice of nostalgia from my childhood: a Post Grape Nuts commercial featuring Andy Griffith and Don Knotts. I love the fact that Barney puts one over on Andy.

I’d really love to see a place where famous local ads can be heard and viewed. Ads such as “The Del Rancho Kid”, Jim Varney in Braum’s ads, Alan Merrill Chevrolet, Trust House Jewlers, etc. Does a local advertising association have a “Hall of Fame”?
