‘Supernanny’ casting call Saturday in Oklahoma City and Tulsa
“Supernanny” star Jo Frost may get to help Oklahoma families for Season 6 of the show.
That’s because a casting team from the ABC parenting series will be in Oklahoma City and Tulsa Saturday searching for potential families.
The open casting call in Oklahoma City is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Science Museum Oklahoma (2100 NE 52). The one in Tulsa is set for 1 to 4 p.m. at Tulsa’s Incredible Pizza Company (8314 E 71 St).
All interested families are encouraged to come out and meet with the casting producers for a few minutes in person. And everyone who emails the casting team prior to Saturday — and includes a recent family photo and the reason help is needed — will be given a front-of-the-line pass and won’t have to wait.
Send emails to cast4shows@yahoo.com. Casting producer Johnny Beechler will also answer any questions and concerns via that email address or his cell phone (614-668-5700).
Although “Supernanny” welcomes all families in need of help with out-of-control kids, there are a few qualities that may give applicants an advantage for the Season 6 casting call.
The casting team is specifically looking for:
••Families with unique interests
••Parents who have ordinary and extraordinary circumstances
••Teen moms
••Parents with mean girls or bullying boys
••Same sex parents
••Culturally diverse parents
••Blended families where both sides are seeking help
••Parents with teens
Basically, casting producers want families from every type of background who are ready for a visit from America’s No. 1 nanny, Jo Frost. She demonstrates her expert behavioral techniques and caring ease with children on ABC’s “Supernanny.” And her book, “Ask Supernanny” is an international best seller.
