This was one of the very few new Christmas movies I watched almost every time it was on. I love it and it has become a Christmas classic for me. I wish they would do a sequel…the pair had a dynamic screen presence like actors of old Hollywood screen. Fabulous!

I caught ‘Love at the Christmas table’ again last night, and I cannot help but love it more! The big question is when will it be out on DVD? And why has lifetime not showed it more? They repeatedly passed ‘under the mistletoe’ and ‘Merry in laws’ time and time over again and they’re pretty Awful! Yet they not this one much :-((

LOVE THE MOVIE but the song, Can’t Help Myself by Terri and the Carlas is just the best….I want to buy it on dvd but can’t find it anywhere…got any ideas?

Hi Carly – you can find The Poptarts on iTunes. Their Christmas CD is called “A Toasty Christmas” and the two songs from the movie are “Christmas Gift” and “Favorite Time of Year.” Good luck!

Thanks for the tip about downloading the song, it worked perfectly! It was driving me crazy wondering what the song was, and I couldn’t understand the ‘with his touch’ part from the movie so all I kept pulling up was links for ‘i can’t help myself (sugar pie, honey bunch)’ haha. Such a cute song and cute part of the movie.

Great movie! I saved it on my DVR and watched it twice in 3 days. Ha! I’m so excited someone was able to find/download the song they danced to. I loved the song too and can’t wait to try putting it on my iTunes!

the book in the library Elissa Beth refers to classic “Great Expectations”…The ball room in the haunted mansion in walt disney world always reminds me of that book.
