“The Good Wife” Matthew Perry cast in recurring role

Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Matthew Perry has signed on for a recurring role in the CBS drama “The Good Wife.”
Perry will play Mike, an extremely charming Chicago attorney assigned to head up a blue-ribbon panel investigating a suspicious police shooting, according to a news release.
When Alicia (Julianna Margulies) is selected to be on the panel, she starts to question the actions he is taking as the chairman.
The cast of the series also includes Josh Charles, Christine Baranski, Archie Panjabi, Matt Czuchry and Alan Cumming.
“The Good Wife” airs at 8 p.m. Sundays on CBS.
