As a parent of 2 Autistic kids( girl 15 & boy 13) the school scenes hit home. I hope whoever watches this begins to understand special needs people are just like everyone else.
Also how are the kids(now adults) who went to Space Camp? How did there lives turn out?.

I saw the movie and loved it; I am a retired special education art teacher and can vouch for the many talents often overlooked in these kids. In particular, I have had a number of talented artists in my classes (as portrayed by the boy who designed the space game and badge that won)and have also had several extraordinary students with mechanical and model-building skills.

Kudos to the actors – adult and student – in this film, and to the origianl teacher and community that pulled this off!

I loved the movie. I have a 10 year old son with downs and this really hit home. Never under estimate these kids. They are amazing.

Yes, it will be replayed. Watch your tv listings. I think it said in the next week. The movie is also available on DVD from Hallmark.

i wish I could find out the name of the Burger jpoint and who gave the money. I work with these kids alot and my Grand daughter is andicaped. I want to just thank that person. If I cannot findout just thank him for me.
