Deb realizing her love for Dexter and then seeing him kill were the only two moderately entertaining things this season…even if the first one was a bit off. The rest of the season was boring rubbish. Those two last plot lines were desperate, yes, but they were at least mildly interesting.

It’s kind of odd that your sensibilities were hurt when watching a show about a guy who cuts people up into little pieces. You seem to be arguing that these plot points shouldnt have happened because they’re unseemly (step brother sister love) and they mark a change in the characters relationships (this is called “storytelling”)

I’ve been waiting for Deb to find out since season 1. If no one ever found out, how would they eventually end the show? Everything would remain the same and Deb would keep almost finding out but something would keep stopping her from uncovering the actual truth, and you can only do that so many times until it becomes ridiculous. You think Dexter is supposed to have a happy ending?? It won’t.
